On October 6, 2015 the Rushville-Industry FFA chapter hosted the Section 11 Land Use contest. The location of the contest was off of the Vermont Blacktop on Sullivan’s land. The contest consists of judging different soil types and how fertile the soil is. Students identify whether it could flood or if it is a level spot. There were 12 schools present and a total of 23 teams. Rushville had 7 students participating. Marissa Lung scored the highest score from Rushville, placing in the top 50.
