On May 6th, 35 Rushville-Industry FFA Members came out to the square to share their agricultural knowledge with kids from the community. The weather was perfect and the turn out was great! FFA members were responsible for providing soda and popcorn to kids, helping kids up and down tractors, guiding kids through a chore run, and bringing their livestock for a petting zoo. This year our petting zoo included a mule, a horse, sheep, pigs, goats, a rabbit, ducks, chickens, and even fish! The students were able to share their livestock experiences with the kids and promote agriculture for a day.
